Getting hospital appointments and GP appointments is hard enough as it is let alone letting people who want refuge get it for free and we don't. There are already numerous members with questionable beliefs some of whom were attempting to be MP's under Reforms name at the last election. | Honestly I don't really give them much thought- in the current Westminster political system it's the number of MPs that counts and they don't have many. I can see that political parties would take note though as the percentage of the vote they got indicates there's a degree of support for them. Honestly I think the common tactic by some sections of the media and some activists (of implying anyone who questions the current status quo regarding immigration is racist) just tends to drive people towards the right wing of the political spectrum, so I'm not really surprised that the support for parties like Reform would rise in such a situation. |
